Basin City Arts Center, along with the support of Wyoming Arts Council’s Art Education Grant is sponsoring a fun-filled storytelling workshop for children in grades 4-12. During this 3 day workshop, each participant will learn and perfect a story to tell. The workshop will be a combination of games and activities that explore the techniques of the storyteller.
The workshop will be held August 15-17 from 10:00 - 12:00 each day. A storytelling showcase will be held on August 17th, from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Basin City Arts Center, for the storytellers who choose to share their story with an audience.
Shelly King from Basin will spearhead this program. She has been a professional storyteller since she retired 6 years ago.
