Davis and Mavrick in Concert

and Wine and Cheese Reception
September 30, 2016 @ 6:00 P.M.

A Wine & Cheese Reception followed by the music of Davis and Mavrick is sponsored by the Security State Bank of Basin on Friday, September 30 at the Basin City Arts Center Ballroom starting at 6 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public.

Davis and Mavrick’s music is a journey through the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.  With polished vocal harmonies, versatile arrangements, acoustic guitars, percussion and ukulele, Davis and Mavrick offer a diverse song selection that will evoke memories from an era of music that will last forever.  Whether they are performing their versions of the “modern classics” or their all acoustic tribute to the Beatles, Davis and Mavrick keep audiences of all ages listening, dancing, and singing along.

Heaven Bound in Concert

September 24, 2016


     Heaven Bound, a group of six local Country Gospel Musicians, will be in concert at the Basin City Arts Center Saturday, September 24 at 7 p.m.  
     Musicians include Ashley Dern, Alesha Dern, Don Weeks, Doris Todd, Dave Todd and Carole Blakeman.  The band does Country Gospel, Old Country, and Bluegrass Music.  There is lots of variety with duets, trios, various small groups and solos within the band group.  Some songs are instrumental while others are vocals.  Organized in June 2009 Heaven Bound has played for many community events.  
     The concert is free and open to the public with donations to the BCAC appreciated.  For more information contact Carmen Olson at 568-2944.  The BCAC is a nonprofit organization developing and supporting the arts in the Big Horn Basin.
