Free Concert Saturday, January 28 with Mason Werbelow & Cynthia Triplett

Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, and Gospel music will stream from the Basin City Arts Center when Mason Werbelow and Cynthia Triplett perform a free community concert on Saturday, January 28 at 7 p.m.  

Mason Werbelow is a 16 year old Greybull High School student who has been taking guitar lessons for 8 years.  He enjoys playing many genres and plays piano, bass guitar, and percussion for Greybull High School’s jazz band and the rest of the music department.  Mason currently takes lessons from Jeff Troxel and has participated in the Northwest College Guitar Ensembles for the past two years.  He has participated in many music summer camps, performances, and ensembles.  Along with his musical activities, Mason is an honor roll student and plays soccer for Worland Warriors.  Mason future plans are to go to college to become an engineer.

Cynthia Triplett has been singing since before the dawn of time and has been performing for audiences since she was in high school.  She has been entertaining people of all age groups with favorite oldies, country and Christian music.  Cynthia is an award-winning professional elementary teacher.  She enjoys coaching volleyball and has coached track.  Cynthia is currently enjoying her new adventures selling Monat professional hair care products and SeneGence skin care and makeup.

Join Mason and Cynthia for this free hour-long community concert at the Basin City Arts Center Saturday, January 28 at 7 p.m.  Donations appreciated!  The BCAC is a nonprofit organization developing and promoting the arts in the Big Horn Basin.


Missoula Children’s Theatre “Aladdin" Audition Monday, January 30

The audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of ’Aladdin’ will be Monday, January 30 from 4-6 p.m. at the Basin City Arts Center.

There are roles for students from Big Horn County School District No. 4 and No. 1 in grades kindergarten through 12th.  This is a group audition and no advance preparation is necessary.  Rehearsals will be conducted every day throughout the week.  The performances will be on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4.  All those in the cast must be available for all scheduled rehearsals and performances.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana.  The residency is make possible by the Basin City Arts Center with donations from local businesses and supported in part by a grant from the Sykes Foundation.  The Basin City Arts Center located at 117 S. 4th Street is a nonprofit organization supporting and developing the arts in the Big Horn Basin.
